Honda Xcelerator Startup Success at CES 2018

We love the technology in our new Honda vehicles, from infotainment to driver assistance they make driving better at every turn. One thing that we often take for granted is the research and development behind these technologies that we love. This year at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2018 the Honda Xcelerator Startups demonstrated their future mobility solutions. One startup in particular, BRAIQ, is trying to revolutionize adaptive cruise control technology.

BRAIQ is based in New York City and has been working on a way to create a more personalized adaptive cruise control experience. They do this by bridging the gap between human preference and artificial intelligence allowing an autonomous vehicle to learn a person's driving style. The BRAIQ system will collect biometric information that gives the vehicle information about passenger comfort. The aim is to create a personalized adaptive cruise control experience that fosters trust in automated driving technology.
